Eugene Hvozdikov
I run your mail, files, photos and passwords on a machine that runs for you alone, under your own domain, and I answer for it myself
In the register: Yevheniy Hvozdikov Busto Arsizio (VA), Italy
I arrived in Italy as a child, grew up in the south and made my career in the north. Italian is the language I think in.
I left university to learn at the speed of work rather than of theory, and a decade followed on production systems that were not allowed to lose data.
That decade taught me that companies do not lose data to hardware failure. They lose it because nobody is accountable for those systems on a Tuesday afternoon. Arasaka is that accountability, for never more than twenty clients: each one's services on a machine that runs nothing else, and one person who answers for it.
Outside work I train, and share a home with my wife and our two lagotti romagnoli, Capo and Pika.

How I work
— One machine for each client
Your services run on a machine that runs nothing else, under your own domain. What the price buys.
— The keys are yours from the first day
The backup key, read access to the offsite copy and the documentation of how it is all built. What you hold.
— Restores tested and reported
Twice a year, with the result written into the report you receive. Who can reach your data.
— No office hours
A critical fault is acknowledged within four hours, any day of the year. Service levels.
— The projects get paid
Part of what you pay goes back to the people who maintain the software your services run on. What it runs.
